System Designer

Due to continued growth, we are seeking that ideal person who is passionate, versatile, creative and quality oriented to work in Systems Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate manufactured computer system specifications and designs according to customer requirements, including working with internal staff to ensure pre- and post-build customer satisfaction. This is a client-facing position that involves 50% technical design work and 50% sales. Prior relevant sales experience is required.

Position Requirements

• 2-3 years experience specifying and designing custom computer systems
  
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience required, preferrable with technology products
  
• Demonstrated experience configuring business-class desktops and servers
  
• Experience configuring thin clients and other embedded computer systems very helpful
  
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with hardware and software integration; Windows and Linux
  
• Experience working with ERP systems a plus
  
• Detail oriented and able to maintain thorough documentation
  
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  
• Ability to provide highly accurate and consistent results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work alone or as a member of a team
• Associates' Degree in Engineering or better
