Hardware
Your Bantam computer system comes with a full 3-year parts and labor warranty, which covers all standard hardware installed at the time of purchase and does not include any hardware installed after we deliver the system to you. If your system includes special order or non-stock items, those items are warranted by the manufacturer and are not covered under this warranty.Should a problem arise with your system that you believe is warranty-related, it should be shipped/delivered to our main facility at 2600 McHale Ct., Suite 100, Austin, Texas, 78758 for evaluation. Please note that inbound delivery/shipping costs to our facility are not covered. Also, please ship only the component/item that is experiencing the problem (i.e., do not ship the monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. if the problem is within the PC box). If you have questions or are unsure as to what to include, contact the service department at 888-580-9055 or email service@bantamei.com for assistance. If you would like us to diagnose and make repairs at your location, on-site service contracts are available as an upgrade to this warranty.
Once we receive the item, we will diagnose the problem and let you know if the repair is covered under the warranty. If the repair is covered, we will complete and provide return shipping/delivery of the item to you as quickly as possible via UPS Ground or ?will call? at our facility. Any expedited shipping will need to be covered by you. In the event a warranty-covered part is not quickly replaceable due to back order, we will substitute an equivalent or better part.
If the repair is not covered under the warranty, we will provide you with a written estimate of repairs, which includes a one (1) hour diagnostic charge at our current standard labor rate that can be credited against the repair. If you choose not to have us make the repair, the one (1) hour charge will still apply. Please note that return shipping is not covered under non-warranty repairs.
Software
If you purchase software and software installation with your Bantam system (including operating systems), it is guaranteed to be conflict-free at the time we deliver the system to you. We also provide, as a part of this warranty, one (1) complementary reinstall of all software as a courtesy to our customers (return delivery/shipping is not included). Should a reinstall be necessary, Bantam will be unable to back up any data, settings, or information on your machine. Please make sure you have backed up any important data prior to requesting a software reinstall.
Should a problem or conflict arise after delivery or your complementary reinstallation, we can provide service and support on a time and materials basis, or under a standard service contract.
General Guidelines & Abandoned Items
For all diagnosis and repairs, we strongly recommend that you make a complete backup of all data prior to requesting work. We are not able to assume liability for any lost or damaged data while your system is in our care.Systems/items left for diagnosis or repair should be paid for and picked up within 30 days of notification that work is complete. In the event a system or component is left unpaid past 30 days, and prior arrangements have not been made with Bantam Electronics? management, it will be considered abandoned and become the property of Bantam Electronics. We may, at our option, sell or repurpose the item(s) to cover the cost of the repair.
